Meet Jarvis the Cocker. He’s having walks for the next couple of months while his owner recovers from a hospital operation. He’s taken over the vacant morning slot in my schedule left by Rupert, who finished his walks when he moved out of the area.

Jarvis is a typical spaniel, who likes nothing better that ferreting around in the undergrowth. He also likes to put in the miles, walking twice as far as some other dogs in half the time. Luckily there are plenty of places to walk near to where he lives, so it looks like there are a couple of months of exploring coming up.
